This is a fun and competitive game that children can play free of charge to practice their tables. It is completely safe to use and has all the fun of competing against the clock and others. As the children use it they get coins and they can upgrade the character they play as. One of the best things about the game is if there are tables that your child is finding hard the website can work this out and give them more practice on those. The children all have their own log in details which are in the front of their reading record books. The login can be used on the website itself, but you can also download apps on Google Play or the Apple App Store (these are free).
Not knowing how to correctly pronounce words is a major barrier for children when learning how to spell. Spellingframe was created to help remove that barrier. Every word is read aloud. Every word is also broken into syllables and these too are read aloud. Every word is also provided in a sentence, and every sentence read aloud, so that children also learn the meanings of the words.
· Your child has their own personal username and password and can access all spelling lists, games and activities here at School or at home. Their login details can be found at the front of their reading record books. · Teachers will schedule differentiated word lists for individual pupils, or groups, in their class · Your child’s teacher can track your child’s progress. · Your child will earn ‘Spelling Points’ by playing games and activities. · If your child gets a word wrong in a test, it is added to their own ‘Tricky Word’ list. They can then practise with those words they find tricky until they get them right.
